Taster Sessions

Taster sessions are shorter, more condensed versions of the masterclasses on offer in Criw Celf. Our artists will visit your school and provide a practical workshop in their area of expertise. These workshops can also be linked to any current module themes. Previous sessions have included glass design, textiles, ceramics and mural design. These sessions are free of charge. We also provide additional outreach activities. Please get in touch to find out more.

Teacher Testimonials

Here are a few testimonials from teachers we have worked with.

Every one of our students has spoken highly of the workshops, trips, and exhibitions provided, and having spoken with parents, I can testify to the gratitude they feel for the positive effect not only on their children’s experience of a wide variety of skills, but also on their self-confidence and enthusiasm for the visual arts.

Euros Rowlands, Head of Art, Ystalyfera

Criw Celf has supported brilliant artistic pupils and over the years we have been able to give our More Able and Talented pupils an opportunity to continue their learning experiences outside the classroom by attending a programme of artistic experiences while working with professional artists. Everyone who has attended these extra curriculum activities have all thoroughly enjoyed their experience
